Club profiles: Lacrosse

We are the NUIG Lacrosse Club, with teams for both men & women. We train twice a week and provide gear for all members of the club. Participation in training is key as picking up the skills of lacrosse requires practice, especially for most as it can be a new sport. We enter in the Irish Lacrosse Leagues every year and play all over Ireland. In 2016, the women's team won the ILL and had the opportunity to represent Ireland abroad in a national tournament. These experiences have enriched the lacrosse team at NUIG and continue to motivate us in #growingthegame. We love the craic at our club and encourage team activities and social events. Creating a good experience with the club ensures a successful and memorable team that we hope to keep at NUIG Lacrosse.
